Invene Welcomes New VP of Engineering

Alex Melton brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Invene, complemented by an impressive background in engineering and consulting that spans multiple industries. In this role, he will direct Invene’s engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure the continued development of high-quality software solutions for its clients. His leadership will focus on scaling technical teams, improving delivery velocity, and strengthening Invene’s engineering culture. With a sharp eye for both product quality and business value, Alex will play a key role in aligning technology strategy with client outcomes.

Alex began in aviation working with Cessna on FAA inspection, then progressed into building weapons systems for the DoD at Booz Allen. As engineering director for a startup in 2018, he helped build the company to eventual exit via acquisition for $30M. Alex then launched his own software consulting agency focusing on experiential retail tech for 5 years with key clients including Target, Nike, Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe, Meijer, and many more household brands. At Invene, Alex will apply this cross-industry expertise to scale engineering operations, streamline delivery, and help clients bring cutting-edge healthcare AI software to market faster.
